When we start a Water Refilling Station (WRS) in the Philippines, managing our drivers or delivery people is essential. Our drivers are the representatives of our business, and they communicate with customers on a daily basis. Interestingly, a driver can generate up to 200 new customers for our company. However, if that driver leaves, those customers may go as well and turn to another source of water. This is because our customers prefer to deal with the drivers they have known for some time. In order to address this problem, we came up with the Ka-Tubig On-The-Move application. This app assists our drivers, especially those who may not be conversant with the delivery routes, by directing them from their current location to the customer’s address, as Google Maps does. However, with records and GPS, our drivers are able to locate the customers’ homes even if they have relocated recently.
Maintaining Customer Retention with Ka-Tubig Store Management
The Ka-Tubig Store Management app is another helpful application for us as WRS owners. It assists us in maintaining detailed customer records, so even if our driver leaves, our customers will continue to patronize our WRS. This system ensures that our drivers do not take customers with them when they transfer to another company, thus protecting our business.
Recruitment and Training of Good Drivers
It isn’t easy to find suitable drivers, and once we have hired one, he or she must get to know the delivery routes. But if they go, all the time and effort we spent training them goes to waste. That is why we need a system that can enable new drivers to be on par with the rest of the drivers within the shortest time possible.

Cost management is another issue that we have to address during the implementation of our strategy. At other times, drivers may not be truthful about the amount of money they have received from our customers. They might state that a customer never paid when they did or state a lower amount than was actually paid. This makes it difficult for us, as owners of WRS, to differentiate between the right and wrong people to deal with. The Ka-Tubig Store Management app allows all the transactions to be recorded well so that we can manage our finances well and ensure there are no chances of mistakes or cheating.

Customer relations are crucial to our business and should be kept intact. Our customers will always prefer to stick to our WRS, knowing that their deliveries will always be on time and reliable. This customer loyalty is crucial for the growth of our business.
